I’m considered by some to be self taught. Truth be told I come from a family history of Teachers and Artists. Also I  have studied intermittently at Massachusetts College of Art, the Museum School Boston and Cleveland Institute of Art. Although I got my start in painting and performance Art (1970’s- 1990’s), the past 20 years most of my focus has been on furniture, wood Craft and pottery.

I prefer Simple practical design which references nature in both colour and form. I have been dedicated to sustainable product for most my life and for that reason my work is composed primarily from locally grown trees ( fallen trees in Cleveland) or re purposed lumber.

I have begun to expand my furniture to include significant metal components, Metal Legs and Copper tops.
